In our move, the movers lost the cords and the instructions to my HP Photosmart C6180 All-in-one. Can I purchase new cords somewhere and get instructions on how to hook up to my computer?
The cables that your printer uses us called USB and another one is ethernet. any local store has this so you can go to radioshack, walmart, bestbuy and you will be able to get these types of connectors for your printer.

Use a computer that has Internet connection to download the printer driver then copy the drivers to an USB memory stick and install the printer driver onto your computer using the USB memory stick. Connect the power cord to your HP C6180 and press the "On" button.

Press the "Setup" button.

Press the down arrow until "Network" is highlighted, then press "OK."

Press the down arrow until "Wireless Setup Wizard" is highlighted, then press "OK." Your printer will search for your network.

Press the down arrow to display your local network, then press "OK."

If you are willing to download the software, HP support has essentially the same programs that were on the CD: (first select your operating system, then choose to download the full-featured software)
Try This :
Put the CD in the computer ; Goto My computer- Right click on Black HP logo - Click on Explore - Open UTIL (Folder)- Open CCC (Folder)- Double Click on UNINSTALLATION L1 file;
Restart the computer;
Take out the CD and put the CD back in
Install the printer By clicking on add a Device
and reinstall it ..

1)right click the my computer icon 2)click properties and then click hardware n go to device manager. 3)uninstall all usb ports and then scan for hardware changes 4)ur pc will detect your printer and ask for printer drivers 5)re load drivers and your pc will communicate with your printer 6)for reloding install the cd follow the instructions on the screen and click next 7)restart when the printer is loded.connect the wires and cords properly.
Please try to check with the ink present in the cartridges and perform the following steps:
a) Turn the printer on.
b) Open the printer’s top cover.
c) After the print cartridges have moved to the center/home position of the printer, unplug the printer’s power cord from the electrical outlet.
d) Remove the print cartridges.
e) Using a dry, lint-free, clean cloth, wipe the print cartridge contacts, from the top to the bottom
f) The contacts inside the printer may also require cleaning. Using a dry, lint-free, clean cloth, gently wipe the contacts, from the top to the bottom
g) Plug the printer's power cord into the electrical outlet.
Now, perform these steps:
1. Verify that the unit is switched on. Unplug the all-in-one from power and disconnect the connection port.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Plug in the power only.
4. Repeat steps 2-4 two more times.
5. On the third time after plugging the unit into power, reconnect the connection port from the all-in-one to your computer.
