SOURCE: How to fix a blown seal on my Daisy model 840 air rifle .177 caliber?

Basically, you remove the defective seal and replace with new one. If you need a pictorial for such, the daisy web site might just oblige. If not, just Google it.

Daisy Grizzly 840 won't pump up and shoot
Bad seals in Daisy bb and pellet guns cause this. Get the seals replaced in it and it will work. Look on the web for service on BB guns.

Pumping does not build preasure, every pump leaks out, help
If you take apart the pump mechanism you will see a little black o ring that has dried out either Reuben or replace and add a little oil to the mechanism to keep lubed and it will work fine.
