Replace the battery? otherwise send it to fossil. regardless of where you bought it it should have a limited 11-year warranty as as i can tell.

If you do not wind the watch, and if it is electronic it obviously has a battery. Very possible even with a new watch the battery has run out. This is especially if the watch was sitting for about a year in their inventory before you bought it.

I am not sure if your watch has a kinetic type movement where it charges the watch, or it is purely an electro-mechanical type movement. I did read it has a quartz referenced movement for the mechanical balance wheel. This would certainly involved a battery. If changing the battery is not the fix you would have to send the watch for service.

I have a sport watch fossil CH2470. the second hand is not moving, stuck on 12, but everything else works. how do i fix this?

Your watch is Chronograph watch and the big centre seconds hand is for chronograph function only - not day to day seconds counting. Check the small dials and you will see that the small seconds hand is already counting seconds- this small one is seconds counter. To engage chrono hand push the upper push button once. To stop it - push the same button again. to return to zero- push lower button. I just brought the fossil me1044, when i set my day and week the clock function no longer worked, how do i troubleshoot? are then any common problems associated w/ watch?

mcdevito75 here, You may have to go thru the entire setting sequence to get your Fossil watch going right. Along with setting the day, week etc. you may also have to reset the hour and minute, give it a try and see.

We bought the Fossil Brown rectangle watch model FS4284, it stopped working so thought it was the battery. we replaced the battery and then 2 months later it's not working again, faulty battery or is...

  • Change the battery. If your watch stops ticking, chances are the watch is not broken and the battery simply needs to be replaced. You can purchase a watch battery at your local department store or drugstore. Use the screwdriver to pry the back off the watch and place the new battery in the same place where the old one fit.
  • Step 2 If your watch is still not working, determine the problem. If you can hear the watch ticking but the hands are not moving, there may be a gear stuck inside. If only one of the hands does not move, the hand itself could be broken. Once you determine the problem, you can see whether it makes more sense to purchase a new watch or get the old one fixed.
  • Step 3 Check your watch warranty. If your Fossil watch came with a warranty that is not yet expired, Fossil will fix your watch if you send it to the company and pay for shipping and handling. See the "Resources" section below to fill out the Watch Repair Form provided by Fossil.com. If your watch strap is broken, however, Fossil will charge you a fee as broken straps are not covered in the warranty.
  • Step 4 Check a competing local watch repair store. There are watch repair stores located all over the United States that will repair a Fossil watch if your watch is no longer under warranty or if you do not want to pay the shipping and handling to send the watch to Fossil's watch repair department. Although the watch repair store may not have the exact strap you are looking for, it may offer a replacement strap that is similar to the one that originally came with your watch.
  • Step 5 Return the watch to the store where you bought it. If you purchased a Fossil watch that was broken when you purchased it or broke recently after you brought it home, you may be able to return the watch for a refund or store credit. Check with the store's policy before purchasing the watch if you are concerned about returns.

My Fossil FS4283 had been working fine since the time I bought it in 1997. It stopped working suddenly a couple of days ago and no matter what I do doesn't start back. It doesn't have a battery and charges...

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like the chargeing system has gone bad in your Fossil watch, Best Bet look for a small watch repair shop in your area, have them take a look at thr watch.

Sounds like a job for Fossil!

Go to their web site "www.fossil.com" and at the bottom of their page is a menu which includes "store locator".

Hi, My ladies black and siver ladies bracelet watch is not keeping time. first the plate in the face kept moving position according to the movement of my wrist. Then it stopped keeping time, so I took it...

I would send it to Fossil anyways. You say the plate is moving, I'm thinking that's the dial (the thing with the Fossil logo and # on it) That is deffinantly under a warrenty. Fossil is pretty good with helping even if you don't have the paperwork, and don't live in the United States. Look them up on the internet, and if you can call first they will give you a # so when you send the watch they already know what to do and can start fixing your watch faster. Tell me what happens , or if I can assits you further. Good Luck!!!
