I see that you are using an older version of Norton Internet Security. I suggest you to update your program to the latest version. You can download the installation file from the link www.norton.com/nis11 and follow the onscreen simple instructions. I am sure that upgrading to the latest version will fix your Live Update issue. Please also check if the computer's date and time is correct.

Regards,
Muhaim

I ordered security on symantic store on 27 jan confirmation #8122987214 norton 360 version 134.99 extended download service 14.99 and my computer is saying i am not protected

1 of 2 things is happening

1. Software did not install correctly
2. Run the LiveUpdate tool provided in the software.

Most likely you just need to run your updates.

Thanks

Have norton all-in-one-security but won't load

error message actually points to a LiveUpdate problem, which could just be a problem with your installation. Instead of uninstalling Norton and reinstalling it, please try the procedure below.

Please click on the link below and follow the instructions carefully.

Fix for LiveUpdate Error

After you complete the steps in this document, please check that your LiveUpdate settings by doing the following:

1. Launch Norton Internet Security from Start-.>All Programs->Norton Internet Security,> and then choose "Norton Internet Security" from the sub-menu.

2. Click on the "Norton Internet Security" tab at the top of the window.

3. Click on the arrow next to "Settings" to expand it's options.

4l. Next click on "Automatic LiveUpdate." It should say "On." If not please click on it and then click on the "Turn On" button. When Automatic LiveUpdate is turned on, as long as you are connected to the internet and logged in to Windows, LiveUpdate will check for and install updates up to 3 times per day. This is the best way to keep Norton Internet Security up to date and running smoothly.

Full system scan not getting completed

Open NIS and run LiveUpdate. Keep re-running LiveUpdate until it says that there are no more updates. Reboot the system if prompted to do so (you may want to reboot even if it doesn't say it is required, just to be sure everything got replaced properly). Open NIS again, select Tasks and run a Full System Scan. The error message should not appear again.

I wish to install Windows Vista Home Premium. I already have Windows XP. I pay for Norton Internet Security by direct debit through Tiscali and have done so since, 2006. I have run Norton Liveupdate. ...

You will need to cancel your Norton subscription and use one of their products that is suitable for Vista. May I suggest that you purchase Norton Internet security 2009 for a single payment of about 70 dollars.
