Why do I get a red circle with a white X in the middle of the frame occasionally?

Connect red to red side, black to black side. White in the middle and green to the frame of the dryer. make sure all connections are tight but beware of overtightening the electrical terminals

install the latest audio driver for your laptop

Red to one side,Black to the other, white to the middle,Green to
case. (ground) This is correct if the wall plug is correctly wired.

The red and black wires of the cord go to the outside two terminals. The white on the cord goes in the middle. The green goes to the frame. Red and Black on the cord are L1 and L2, White is Nuetral, and green is ground

Black and red go to the outside terminals, white goes to the middle, and green goes to the frame of the machine.  You can look up at the wires coming down to the plug terminal and match up the colors.  Your ground is green and goes to the frame of the machine.  Green is the wire that is supposed to pop the breaker and prevent you from getting shocked so make sure you hook it up to the frame.

This is a frame collapse. If it sorts itself & then goes like this intermittantly then you will have a poor soldered connection either on the frame IC or surrounding components. If the white line is permanent then most likely the frame IC has failed & would need replaced.

ok here is the rule of thumb,the middle wire on a 3,goes to the middle, or white wire always goes on the middle terminal of the block,the black and red does not really matter there both 120 volt but if you can see the wires on the termial block match them up,the green wire gets mounted with the other green wire to the cabinet and your done,let me know how you do-mike
