Looking for a motherboard on acer aspire 5050

As stated it can be replaced. Might be the pits in finding the replacement fan, though.

Go to the second Aspire heading.
The one that begins with Aspire 1200.

Now go down to the 5th line, and scroll across to > 5050.
Left-click on 5050.

That s a problem with the motherboard, it s a common problem with 50ty and 51 series, its a dry soldering on the chipset.

no lights at all? try removing the battery, plug the ac adapter see if it works, if not its may be the motherboard itself thats having some issues

dear lcd desplay are same in every model just you need the same size of both. means if you have 15' then you fit only 15'.and if you buy your model lcd there is no any problem because right now problem with cericuit of lcd

If your computer has been working and when you start it you get the message that there is no hard drive (no boot device), then your hard drive has gone bad.
If you have gone into the bios and don't see either a hard drive or a CD or DVD, then most probably you are looking at a motherboard problem. It is not very common for the hard drive and CD/DVD to go bad at once.

look to device manager maybe its aproblem with hid drivers if not go to manufaturers website and from there u can download the user manual to know how to open your lappy and look is it connected to motherboard

click a site, download ,then install

Any motherboard that needs a tweak like yours to work is generally not safe and can cause possible electric shock and or other problems along the way..

Get that motherboard replaced as soon as possible and you will be much happier :)

where is my reset button on my motherboard at? and what is the little thing that you can tirn right or left for?
