Hello.when i switch the tv on a orange light come on..when i go to menu and turn it off..it still deos not go off

algumas TVs mais recentes n?o possuem as entradas de v?deo "amarelas" tradicionais, conhecidas como conex?o "AV". Mesmo sem essa entrada, voc? pode usar o cabo AV padr?o de 3 cores fornecido com o console.
O que fazer:
procure as entradas "componente" na sua TV. Essas conex?es t?m uma linha de entradas de cinco cores diferentes (verde, azul e vermelho para v?deo, branco e vermelho para ?udio). Se voc? possui mais de um grupo de entrada de componentes, geralmente ? o primeiro grupo que trabalha com cabos AV padr?o. Procure o grupo que possui a entrada verde com um contorno amarelo ao redor ou a palavra "v?deo" logo acima ou abaixo da entrada.
Ligue a ficha amarela do cabo Wii AV ? tomada verde "Y". Conecte o plugue branco ao ?udio "L" e o plugue vermelho ao ?udio "R". N?o conecte nada ?s entradas azul e vermelha (v?deo).
Conecte seu console Wii e ajuste seu canal de TV ? sele??o de entrada que voc? est? usando.
Se estiver visualizando a imagem do Wii em preto e branco, tente o seguinte para v?-la em cores:

Alguns modelos de TVs Sharp Aquos Quattron possuem uma entrada de miniplugue, como um fone de ouvido, para conectar o cabo AV padr?o. Existem duas maneiras de conectar o console Wii a essas TVs:
Adquira um adaptador que permita que os cabos AV padr?o sejam conectados ao miniplugue na parte traseira da TV. Eles geralmente est?o dispon?veis no site do fabricante.
Ou, como alternativa, voc? pode comprar os cabos componentes para o seu console Wii.

For your TV the power light will be red when the TV is turned off using the power button on the top of the TV. Press the power button on top of the TV if that does not work then try turning the power off at the power switch on the bottom of the TV then turn it back on after a minute ior so and see if you can turn it on using the power button.

If you are referring to an R15 (the big box in the picture with your post), there should be 3 blue lights on the front of the DVR: one to the far left (power), a big circle in the middle, and one on the right indicating the resolution the DVR is currently trying to send to the TV. The orange light indicates that something is being recorded; either a show or something from DTV like channel listings. The orange light has nothing to do with your TV but may indicate that the DVR is downloading setup information.

As for turning your TV on, when you first get DTV, the DVR remote does not know how to talk to your TV set, only the DVR, so you have to teach the remote to talk to your TV. To do that, turn your TV on with the remote that came with it (or the on/off switch on the TV if you're a dinosaur like me) and change the TV input to whatever input the DVR is attached to - usually HDMI or Component. If you see something (a TV show, a guide, a DirecTV logo, etc.) you're in the right place. Now hit the Menu button on the DTV remote and you'll see a menu on the left that includes "Setup". Use the arrow buttons on the DTV remote to move to Setup, press Select, and then select Program Remote. Follow those instructions carefully, step by step, and you should be all set. (Caveat: I am working from memory so the exact wording might not match and I might have missed a menu level. If so, I apologize.)

The alternating blue orange light means you have put a reminder on for a program that hasnt started before you switched off, you need to remove the reminder before you turn the tv off then the light will be steady blue

What you need is to have the lamp timer reset. To do so, perform the following;

You will need two hands.

With the remote, press and hold down the "mute" button.

Simultaneously press and hold down the "enter" button on the front of the TV.

After about 5 seconds, a box will appear that shows the total number of hours on the lamp. To reset these hours, press the right arrow button on the remote. After doing so, another box will appear with a confirmation question and an icon for which button on the remote to press to reset the lamp hours.

Try unplugging it, and then plug it back in, see if that resets the TV

on my hp the light is blue when switch is on. go to network and conn. and make sure ur wireless is turn off there. cause if my switch is in the on position and i turn it off hp wireless assistant the light will glow orange eventhough the switch is on . ? Just had an issue simular to this one, hope it helps.
