Yes this is a problem, unfortunately you may have to bring it to a Volkswagen dealer for them to fix this issue. First try to lock and unlock the drivers side door with the Key instead of the automatic unlock button on the remote. If this doesn't work continue to insert the key into the ignition turn it to the on position, do not try to start it yet, and pump the gas peddle three times holding down the third time, then try to start the car.
does the remote controller that you have been use is the original remote of the tv?. if yes tried to replace the battery, if still doesn't work tried with camera trick just to ensure if the remote controller work or the IR sensor of the tv was not working. just let me know if you know how to test the remote controller. now if you are using the universal remote controller make sure it was programmed properly with in the tv unit.
If the remote works for sometime once the battery is put into , it means that the circuit is erratic as the frency seems to change from the set value. This can be a fault in the processor IC in the remote, a fault in the crystal or associated capacitors. Check also the IR driver transistor which can be leaking and so changes the output.
does the remote come on? if not then yes i suggest changing the batteries, some remotes have a slide that covers the buttons pull it down and take it off you should see the batteries when that is removed, or some are at the back, let me know if that helps
This is how to complete a remote reset for a Sharp television:
Turn off the television if it is on. Unplug the television. Please leave it unplugged. Take the batteries out of the remote control. Leave the batteries out of the remote control. Is the television still unplugged? Yes? Good leave it that way. Are the batteries still out of the remote? Yes? Good leave them that way. Point the remote at the television's remote sensor. Hold the power button down for 30 seconds. Release it. Press and release each button on the remote control. Plug the television back in. Turn it on with the power button on the television itself. Replace the batteries. Try adjusting the volume. Hopefully the remote works. If it still doesn't work the remote sensor on the television could have gone out or you may need a new remote. http://www.sharpusa.com may have a remote you can order or http://www.replacementremotes.com but if that isn't the problem you may or may not be able to return the remote.
Yes, they can. Another possibility, however, is the jumper settings could have been accidently changed when the battery was changed. Inside the remote is usally four little switches in a row, each can be on or off (zero or one). These need to be set to the same values as the receivers in the fans.
hello emar... check to be sure that the little wire antenna is hanging down from the back of the garage door opener motor. Then check it. If it still won't work from outside, install new batteries.
If that doesn't do it, remove the new batteries and use the eraser end of a common pencil to clean the battery contacts inside the remote. then reinstall the new batteries and try it again.
