No Arial font in my Word 2007 on Vista, only Arial Unicode. I only discovered now, after a customer insists on my documents to be produced in Arial. I check Fonts in Control Panel, no Arial font to be installed. Any good idea? Thanks so much in advance, Leo

1. Need to download all the hindi font from the site http://salrc.uchicago.edu/resources/fonts/available/hindi/

• Windows installation CD or DVD

1. Click the "Start" button, then click "Control Panel."
   
2. Double click "Add or Remove Programs" if you are running Windows XP or "Programs and Features" if you are running Windows Vista or 7.
3. Click the program list entry for the version of Microsoft Office that is installed, then click the "Change" button.
4. Select "Add or Remove Features," then click "Next" or "Continue."
5. Click the plus sign next to "Office Shared Features" to expand the category, then expand the "International Support" category.
6. Click "Hindi Font" or "Universal Font" depending on the Office version, then click "Run from My Computer."
7. Click "Continue" to finish installing the font. Insert the office disc if prompted, then return to the Control Panel window. If you are able to view Hindi fonts in Word, stop here. If you are not, you may need to enable support for complex fonts in Windows. Continue to the next step.
8. Double click "Regional and Language Options."
9. Click the "Languages" tab, then place a check in the box labeled "Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages." Click "OK" twice. If you are prompted to insert the Windows installation disc, insert the disc and click "OK."

If this isn't the word Gujarati: ગુજરાતી, in Gujarati then your computer probably doesn't have a Gujarati Unicode font installed and you will have problems reading the Gujarati section of this site.
Following are instructions for getting Gujarati Unicode to display properly on various computer operating systems.
Microsoft Windows Microsoft Office 2000 and Microsoft Office XP If you have a copy of Microsoft Office 2000 or Microsoft Office XP, or Microsoft Publisher 2002, and Gujarati is not displaying properly then you should install the Arial Unicode MS font which is distributed by Microsoft with these products.
If you are unsure how to install Arial Unicode MS from CD then please consult the Microsoft Help and Support website - try searching for "Arial Unicode MS".
Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 are not distributed with Arial Unicode MS so you will need to install an alternative Gujarati font.
You can download the following free, open source Gujarati fonts from the Indictrans Project:
Padmaa Medium, Padmaa Bold
Once you have downloaded the font file you can install using the font utility in the Control Panel, alternatively just copy the .ttf files into your \windows\fonts\ directory. There are more detailed instructions on our installing fonts page.

Sir, I use Adobe page maker 7.0, I collected some documents from website. All that documents are Arial Unicode MS. I cannot edit the scripts in Page make, I copy the document and paste in the page maker, but all letter convert to other font, so please tell me how can edit the documents in same fonts in page maker.
