Yes it is. I checked the Epson website and it has drivers for Windows 7 so it is compatible.

I found Epson drivers for Win 7 at their web site (Australian version):

Pick your version of the OS and click through (I had to go through a couple of pages).

If you initially installed a generic Win7 driver or an older version of the Epson driver, you may want to uninstall the driver and start again with the USB cable not connected to the computer.
