1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. 2. Press and hold the # key and the number 6 and plug the printer back in all at the same time. 3. Release the keys once the printer is already turned on.
If the printer takes the paper but only crumples it. Do the Reset for the 2nd time.

Go into your Printer Preferences and change the Print on Both Sides option to "None"

On your PC, what is the default setting for this printer. Check in the printer and accessories of Windows.
The paper size might be defaulted to A4 rather than Letter. That mismatch would cause the printer to
error out every time.

I had the same problem and a HP Tech finally found a solution and I hope it works for you...When you print, change your ink quality to "Draft". I tried EVERYTHING and could not believe this worked. Good luck.

Cannot print on regular letter size paper on my HP Officejet 6500A Plus printer. Gives me an error message saying Paper Size Mismatch, but it is the right paper for the print job.

I had same problem. Try this: When you go to print, change your ink quality to "draft". For some reason, I was able to print after trying everything. Hope this works for you!

PROBLEM: Printer will not print, goes through print cycle and "Prints" blank pages. Officejet 6500, Model 709a indicates it is NOT connected to the computer (it is, by cable), Prints blank pages...

To clear all pending job

In run window type services.msc and the go to print spooler option just stop and restart the service. And switch off and switch on the printer.

My hp officejet 6500 will not print pdf files . A single blank page comes out but nothing else.

have scanned records into my computer via hp officejet 6500 scanning software. when i come to print i only get the top half of the document printed on the bottom half of the page - help!!!
