Every 5 minutes or so it beeps and says it is not charging although the phone is not even plugged into the charger. When you switch it on at first it says it is charging with the bar graph indicating this at the top right of screen although it is not even plugged into a charger. I love this phone!! Best phone I have had thus far. I have replaced the battery but find this did not cure the problem.

battery have residual power which last few minutes to allow safely switch off, as you used this power, it shut down. this residual reserve is usually between 3% to 5% of capacity.

and do not fiddle with it till you recharge it, reset will not work while there is no power, any other "trickery" will not work either.

now, plug battery to known good charger and charge it for 24hrs, do not switch it on during that time nor disconnect from the charger.

after this it should be starting and working normally, if it does not - it is still under warranty and you should return it to the place of purchase for repair or replacement, even if you do not have receipt. tablet have it's serial number and can be traced in the store to day, and even hour and minute when it was sold...

check the input and spray compressed air to clean.. do not blow into it cause moisture is expelled when blowing. turn of device and remove battery. spray again. wait 15 minutes. place battery back in power on

charge your battery on another phone and then place your battery in your phone and switch on your phone and connect the charger to it if still it isn't charging then check your charger and if the charger is ok then you need to repair your phone manually or by taking it to authorized dealer

Actually, you can't overcharge the battery. The base is designed to hold the handset indefinitely. Once the battery is charged it doesn't do any damage. You probably just don't have the battery charged enough to use the phone. Leave the handset on the base overnight, let the thing charge, and it should work properly.

Try to turn off and on the phone. If that still does not work try to use a different charger. Sometimes even if the light is on the charger does not charge.

Sounds like a bad charger you might need to get a replacement unit I had the same issue with one of my phones and it was a bad connector on the charger

take your battery out & rub on the pins of battery. then put it in the cell phone & switch it on & charge it.

i had that same exact problem, with my razr so i just went out and bought a new battery for like 15 dollars, and now it works like a charm :)

try charging your fon in your house outlet. if it works then your car charger is defective. if still your fon wont charge in your house then your fon has a prob in its charging section.
