Question about Bushnell Measuring Tools & Sensors
Check the power supply. If the output voltage is on the low side (I had one producing only 4.95V) you may get these problems. When I changed the power supply for a different one producing 5.20V all the problems went away, including a message "Low Battery" although I had a new set of batteries installed.
Not enough power means it will fail to sync with the Ambient satellite and produce zero bars or one bar instead of two or three bars.

I have a Bushnell 7 day forecaster for about 10 years I love it . Suddenly one morning it lost its signal and no matter where I placed it I would receive a message from the unit no signal found try another location . Loosing my owners manual IN THE BACK OF THE FORECASTER AND THERE IS A SMALL RESET BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM I TOOK A SMALL PIN AND PRESSED THE RESET BUTTON AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY now Hope this can help who ever has this issue , note the smaller five day forecasters do not come with a reset button in the back.

My Bushnell 7-day forecaster does NOT have a reset button. So my unit is still dead. Meanwhile, my Bushnell 5-day forecaster is working perfectly and it DOES have a reset button. Go figure.
