Hi,
There is no easy way to check the laser / lens. But the rule of thumb in lens is if after cleaned in several time , the lens still not work, it is time to replace the lens ( laser).
Regards, Jay
The Travelpilot Lucca does not have the capability to be connected by USB cable. The connector socket on the bottom of the device is intended for a cradle built into a car that provides connectivity to compatible Blaupunkt car radios. It is a proprietary connector unsuited for PCs. MP3 files are transported to the Lucca via SD cards only.
