Line through center screen

When I turn on my cinego, a solid white line appears through the center of the picture. The line blinks rapidly on and off. This doesn't mean there may be something wrong with the lamp does it? I only have about 850 hours on the lamp.

You have an issue with your bulb... (probably defective). I would suggest you get another one.

Here is the cheapest on out there right now

White line on my LG 55lw5600

Just visit the site linked here. It has screen-shots to defective plasmas & LCDs. You can compare it to that of your TVs' and make sure about the fault, to an extent. It will be best I assume.

Half inch crystal/ solid white vertical line on screen

Adjust the horizontal in the menu then try the overscan adjustment. If the image does not look dim you do not need a lamp.

Rotation of screen

The Cinego only reverses the picture, so that it can be reflected from a mirror. It won't rotate the picture.

White vertical line in the center of projected image

I have a Dell 2400MP projector that had the same problem of vertical white lines appearing over the screen.

This may seem like a simple solution, and I don't know if this will work for you, but the way I solved the problem was simply to press the bottom side of the projector, until the white lines disappear . Until now, the problem has yet to resurface.

Here's some simple steps:
1. Turn on projector
2. Connect projector to computer
3. Focus projector
4. If white vertical line appears, firmly press underside body of projector
5. See if vertical white line disappears
6. If not, try slowly pressing other parts of the body of the projector and see if white lines disappear.
7. If solution doesn't work, you may need to send it to the service center.

Hope this solution works for you.

White line

There are individual drivers for each line of plasma cells in the display (horz. & vert.), but they usually are an integral part of the display module that can only be repaired by the manufacturer. A new 42" HD-ready set with more features can be bought for 50-75% of what was likely paid for this one. The cheapest thing to do is learn to live with it. (That's what I'd do until the set got worse or the prices got even lower.)

Audiovox AVT 1598

The vertical output IC or the vertical circuit is whats at fault. its all solid state and im sorry to tell ya that its not a user replaceable part. This set is probably not worth the repair it would take to get this set working again but please if you like ask a ;ocal repair shop what they thought about this problem..
