Error modo e001 casio fe5000 - Casio Parts Cash Register PC Desktop

E001 error is the generic Wrong Mode error message on the Casio tills.

It simply means that a transaction was started in one mode without being finished before the key was turned to a different.

Return the key to the mode you were in before, complete the transaction then try turning the key.

If you keep getting the error turn the X and press SBTL.

Hello i have casio FE-5000 and i'm trying to change vat from 15% to 18% but is not working! any help? Thanks

The FE5000 is a special model. Sorry, I don't have info on error codes for it. C-tech have the FE5000G manuals. I think they will work fine for the FE5000. They are here:

E001
Meaning:Mode switch position changed before finalization. CURE:Return the mode switch to its original setting and finalize the operation

E001 = Wrong Mode, which means u had did something in another key mode but not yet done.

Solution 1 :

1. Turn the key to another position where the screen do not show E001
2. Press [Subtotal]
3. O.K

Solution 2: Flag Clear the Machine

1. Key turn to OFF
2. Keep Press [FEED]
3. Key turn to PGM
4. Release [FEED]
5. U will see "INIT 0000000000"
6. Press [Subtotal]
7. U will see "FFFFFFFFFF"
8. Wait for 10 seconds, the machine will print
9. OK

Hi. Try this:

Turn key to program mode.

0
CASH
SUBTOTAL
3
SUBTOTAL
0
CASH
SUBTOTAL

Then turn back to REG mode and try it.
