Yes, but when you take the cover off you will discover the name plate with the proper info to replace the remote, also your fema preparer might have placed the remote there as well. thank you and good luck

Can I replace my broken Carrier thermostat control #SYSTXCCUID01-A with a Bryant Evolution Thermostat Control Model # SYSTXBBUID01-A?

The answer is yes. Chances are that the tstat you have now just hasn’t been setup properly. Don’t want to get the new tstat and have the same issue but I suppose you could try!

I HAVE CARRIER AC MODEL NO. 38HQR18UP30-03, WHEN START THE AC ONLY THE INSIDE BLOWER IS STARTING OUTSIDE UNIT FAN AND COMPRESSOR DOESNT START.....

It could be a number of things. Check breaker panel inside your house for flipped breakers. Check for bad fuses and check your capacitors. But only if you know how to use a multimeter and shut the power off first and understand how to de energize the capacitor. Otherwise call an electrician of hvac professional. Otherwise doing so can be deadly if your are unsure of electricity

Ac thermostat not working

Sounds like you have the thermostat fan switch in the "ON" position instead of "AUTO". Give that a try. Beyond that you could have a thermostat thats wired wrong or an outright bad thermostat. Its difficult to go any further without knowing what type of furnace and thermostat you have. I hope this helps though. Good Luck.

How do you know remote is working?

Fresh batteries in remote? Will AC turn on by manually at ceiling assembly? Little green or red light on at ceiling assy? Have you checked Carrier site for manual to download?

Hi smargyle,

Welcome to fixya!

I can provide you with diagrams for the old Carrier therm and for the new Filtrete therm. But, I would need to know what the model numbers are for each therm plus how many speeds AC you have.

Please reply back with that information and we will get your AC back in working order.

Thanks,

I JUST BOUGHT BICYCLE TRAILER FOR 10.00 AND THE PART THAT ATTATCHES TO BIKE IS MISSING IT IS A SCHWINN YELLOW AND BLUE.I DON'T KNOW HOW IT WOULD MOUNT SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF PART I NEED THANKS THOMAS...

Sounds like you bought a Schwinn Spirit Bike Trailer. Here is the link to the manual for that model. They all basically attach the same from Schwinn so should be enough for you.

IN the manual is a website and phone number to call for parts.

Carrier 6 wire, installed programmable hunter ther...

Is this a heat pump? Look in the thermostat. You should have something like the following.
Red wire to R terminal
Green wire to G terminal
Yellow wire to Y terminal
White wire to W or W1
Blue or Orange wire to the O or B terminal
Brown wire to C terminal.

Let me know what you have in the thermostat. The wire colors are not always the same.

We have nomanual and don't know if this hvac or just ac

OK - I'll take a stab at this. First, you need to find out what brand the A/C/Heating unit is. Trailer units are usually on top so you may have to do some climbing. Second, the trailer itself should have a model and make. When these units are assembled, they generally use a certain set of accessories from a specific source. Contact a dealer who either sells or services your unit. They should be able to help with additional info, manuals, etc.
