Full light keeps blinking on Maytag dehumidifier

The unit won't turn on even after I empty the tank and unplug for 24 hrs etc. I don't have a manual as it is the landlords unit.

Pull out the tank and see if you can find the switch that actuates that fault.... it may be the float swich for the bucket and it may be stuck... flip the float switch up and down a few times

Hi I have problems with my mitsubishi dehumidifier Oasis Elite MJ-E-142NX-A1 The water tank full light stays on even though the tank is empty. I have emptied the water and replaced the container care

Sounds like your float is stuck in the full position, or the sensor that shows full is stuck on full.
If tank is empty but shows full, problem lies where full signal is coming from.

Was full - turned off to empty - replaced empty bucket, won'r turn back on and keeps beeping full

Try reinserting the bucket, making sure that it's positioned properly. So that the safety switch is engaged. If that still doesn't solve the problem. Turn the MASTER ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit from the wall outlet. Wait 12 - 15 minutes and plug the unit back in. Turn the MASTER ON/OFF Switch to ON and hopefully, if the bucket is positioned properly, the unit will have reset itself.

Hope this helps you to solve the problem. Please let me know.

My dehumidifer kr923317 283w will not come on it just beeps

Hi,

The tank may be full. Your dehumidifier has a safety device that turns off the dehumidifier when the water tank is full. Usually the tank itself either presses against a switch or there's a device connected to the tank that triggers a switch when the tank is in place and full.

If you've emptied the tank and the unit doesn't run, inspect the place where the tank rests to see if there's a switch or mechanism that's not being activated. You may be able to turn it on with a simple flick of your finger.

Good luck.

My zenith zd309 light keeps blinking but the water

If the unit is titled forward at all, the "full bucket" "trip switch" will not trigger off as it should. Be sure the unit is on a flat, level surface, or leaning backward slightly--this also aids drainage through the drain tube, if that's your set-up.

The "full light" will not quit blinking.

you take out the filter screen and vacumn it or run it under warm water. As far as the full light is concerned it probably means the last time you emptied it you didn't seat it back into the unit properly. If you take the tank out and reinstall it the light will probably go off. Sometimes I have to do it a couple of times before it seats properly.

Maytag electronic dehumidifiers full light stays on

Take out the bucket and locate the "full" switch in the upper right of the area where the bucket slides in. With the unit on, try pushing it in and see if the "full" light goes off.
If so, that switch is fine - if not try to adjust if and replace it if required. Those are generally micro-switches and firms like Radio Shack would have if your appliance parts dealer does not.
