Hi, Almost any large dealer like Wal-Mart, Sears, or Target will have Timex replacement straps and bands for most popular watches and monitors. Sometimes a local Authorized Dealer will have specialized products that the department stores don't even carry without ordering.
I have had good luck with Wal-Mart on watch accessories. I've also ordered straight from Timex in Little Rock, Arkansas, ph. 1-800-448-4639, but it usually takes more time for just parts.
My son's watch (WR 50M) broke... so I have a strap, if you'd like it. He loved this watch and it would cost about the price of a new one to repair, so I'm buying him a new one. He's had the same watch for years... bless, huh? If you anywhere I can purchase another WR 50M - 1440 Timex, I'd be most grateful.
If it is the five button type I have (there are several) you hold "SET" until a field starts flashing. Then hit "MODE" until you see "24-HR" in the display. Hit "LAP/RESET" once and it should display "12-HR". Hit set again and you are done. Also note that timex has all manuals available online for free, searchable by the "module number" you can find on the back plate of your watch. Hope this helps.
Hold down the adjust button bottom right then press the mode button top left you will notice the a or p that stands for am/pm will disappear & reappear. If you have an a or p on your display then you are out of military time.
