SOURCE: iphone voice quality

Hi Doc,
Yes It seems that the bump when you dropped it cracked the earpiece. It happens often. Keep in mind that this is the first cell phone apple has made so they are still learning. It could have been worse.Trust me! The i-phone when dropped on the otherside (bottom) the wifi radio breaks! That part is next to impossible to get. Back to your problem. Like i was saying, its a simple repair for any authorized service center with i-phone experiance to replace. We do i-phone repairs quite a bit at my store, as the i-phone is not sold by any carrier herein Canada, so people come to us. It should cost you about 60$ with installation if its an out of warranty item. If you want us to do it for you, just go to our site aand shoot me an email

SOURCE: sound cuts when volume is turned up

check that power amplifier rating(how many watt)must be more than total speaker rating by 20% at least..
exampel:if speakers watts are 100 watt-amplifier watt must be 120 watt.

SOURCE: center speaker

I had the exact same problem. In order to "almost" balance the center with the other channels I had to give the center +12db gain and the other channels -12db. So after I got that far with level calibration I tried some tv sound, well the center although was playing sounded like the highs were missing and a bit distorted. This is the good part, I turned the volume all the way up real fast, somewhere near max something fixed itself, the center became very loud. Now it works just like new. Hope this helps. BTW, the problem existed the same for sub channel, so when the center started working so did the sub.

Internal speakers won't turn off when external audio is connected

Normally , you would expect the TV sound to stop when headphones are plugged in. Obviously not in this case. If you have a set of headphones, try them and see if the TV still has speakers on. If it does, then there may be a setting on the setup of the TV to get headphones to work. If the TV speakers stop, then I would think that the Logitech are not compatible with the TV. The only other thing would be is to get into the TV and disconnect the TV,s own speakers. If the wires are soldered on and not terminal connected, carefully cut 1 of the wires off near the speaker. If 1 wire is cut, the speaker wont work. Make sure both the TV and the additional speakers (If they have their own power supply) you are using are unplugged from the power before you go doing this...!

NOKIA 3315 sound problem (poor sound quality). Please Help!

Poor sound and quality: If you hear buzzing sounds during conversations or either during sound alerts, bring it to the nearest repair shop for replacment of speakers. However, if you only mean that you had a hard time listening to a call because of low volume, then do the following:
1. during the conversation, press the UP button, then, you will see the volume bar to appear. Keep pressing it until you reach the desired volume. When your done, just stop pressing or tapping and it will automatically return to call menu.
Enjoy Nokia 3315.

RADIO CUTS OFF WHEN VOLUME IS TURNED UP

It could be your wiring as well. Sometimes, when speaker wire gets cut and grounded, like your factory wiring to your door speakers or you tap into facrotry speaker wires to add more, the load on your deck increases. When the volume gets to a certain level, it will cut off because of the heat produced to maintain the load.

Hissing Sound in Creative SBS 560 5.1 Speakers

Have you check to see if you have the correct driver for the sound card. I know for fact that when reload some mother board that have a build in sound card that carries AC97 drivers it will install or download the AC97 driver with no problem, and no error and it will not work because the driver needs to be upgrade. You might need to get a new sound card. simple and done. Or go through the trouble to find the correct AC97 driver.

good luck

Sound from 4 speakers cut off..

To troubleshoot a speaker system where sound is not issuing from all speakers, please do the following:
  1. Verify that all cables are plugged in correctly. Make sure the rear and/or center/sub audio cable is plugged in to the correct port. On most surround sound cards, the rear audio port is black, the front audio port is green, and the center/sub audio port is orange. If you do not have a surround sound card, make sure you obtain the proper adapter (discussed in the next paragraph) or use surround sound emulation if your speaker system offers it. If you are not sure if you have a surround sound card, please check with the manufacturer of your sound card for details.
  2. Make sure your sound card supports the same amount of channels as your speaker system contains. For 4.1 systems, it should have a front and rear speaker jack on the card. For 5.1 systems, the card should have a front, rear, and center/sub, output. The card should be properly installed and configured. Please contact your sound card manufacturer for details. If you do not have a surround sound capable sound card, you can use the source selector switch or the M3D button on the controller unit (if available). You can also use an adapter to split the signal for the front and rear speakers. This type of adapter is a 3.5mm male to 2-3.5mm female jacks. You can purchase this adapter at your local electronic store. Please refer to your manual if you do not know if your speaker system can emulate surround sound.
  3. Try connecting the speakers to a portable sound device such as a walkman or portable CD player. Plug the speakers into the headphone jack, but make sure the volume is lowered so the speakers are not over powered. You can do this for both the front, rear, center/sub speakers to verify that they work. If the speaker system works on the walkman, then you are experiencing a configuration issue with your sound card. Please contact your sound card manufacturer.
  4. Check the system Volume Control located in the System tray. Make sure that the volumes are at a reasonable level and are not checked for Muting.
