I have a neo plasma s24ahn, on the indoor unit it says i have an error ch5. sometimes the unit works until i turn it of, other times it starts then stops running after a couple of minutes and beeps with ch5. i have tested the capacitor and its fine. what could the problem be??

There are two reasons for this one is that there is a "DC PEAK ERROR" meaning that there is a communication failure between indoor and outdoor pc board and not a condenser failure. The second could be that the indoor outlet sensor is faulty or is being missed by the intergrated circuit board. Either way I would look at the indoor pc board replacement. Hope this helps

Normaly on this units the problem is the PC boards if i'm not mistaken they have censors this censors give problems sending the unit to a Protection mode when the units works too hard sounds like thats your problem room 2 big and the High preasure presostat it's telling the unit to stop.

CH-05-Comms Error, check your wiring, remove external pumps. Split/Multi - check volts from terminal N to 3 = 0 - 65 Vdc, Multi V - 4 Vdc terminals 3 and 4
