My Hotpoint frig is making a loud noise - almost like a vibration or white noise. The noise is on for a few hours, and then off for a few hours. Sounds like it's coming from outside the frig, maybe from the back.

Sounds like a bearing seal is going. The seal has ruptured and grease of seeping out. The loud noise is the bearings rubbing against each other without adequate grease to reduce the friction. Failure will come soon if it is not fixed. The vibration is coming from the friction and possibly damaged ball bearings .

Ask them cover deforst heater

Sometimes this can be due to vibrations within the duct , possible that the ventillating fan is frosted and so makes the noise with the door closed. So shut down fridge for few hours to defrost and check.Also make sure there are no loose screws or clips on the back panel and the evporator section that can cause vibration.

Because the door was open a large amount of moisture would have been introduced to the evaporator. This moisture would condensate and freeze behind the back walls and cause ice build up on the fan motors and in the dampers. The best way to bring this back to normal is to turn the frig off for 24 hours with the doors open and food out of it. This will unthaw the ice. If you do not eliminate all the hidden frost and ice the frig will not operate to it's full potential.

this is a generic problem with top-loading washing machines. when the distribution of load is not uniform, it gives sound when spinning. if it produces noise even after equal distribution of clothes, the problem lies in the suspension. this is not a major fault, and can be put up with, rather than spending dollars on fixing it. this will in no way cause any special wear and tear for the machine.

Your start system need to be replaced on the compresser go toy the parts house and ask them for a Supco RCO410 or a Supco PRO41 they come with instructions this is a common problem and will get you back in order faster than orering the factory oringinal
