I really like my Sony Ericsson 608i phone for work but lately when I'm talking on the phone, the volume of the microphone seems to be very low as the person I'm talking to can hardly hear me. I had a new on/off button fitted by a phone repairer who is no longer trading and it seems that the problem started then. Can anyone help?

Hello my friend,
when you make a call try to check first the volume at the side of your cellphone... if it is already full volume and its still the same... maybe the microphone of your cellphone is already weak and in need of replacement...

Sir i bought new sony ericsson naite cell phone / all features is good / but when i make a call i hear low volume and voice quality is not good and clear / i increase maxime volume but problem is still '/...

You should be able to increase volume on the side of the phone though you probably already know that, but other than that you should talk to your operator. It might even be their problem in some way. Try calling different phones or you get try with a headset, and if the sound is still bad it has to do with the internals of the phone rather than the speaker or maybe your operator.

Sony w910i

This H denotes that you have HSDPA signal in the area you are using it... HSDPA is faster than 3G, is about 3.6MBps connectivity. So this H is a good thing!

As for the mute, have you tried adjusting its volume during a call or while playing a song? While playing an MP3 or while on a call, try pressing the up arrow (on the right side of the phone) multiple times until you reach a satisfactory sound level.

Hope this helps.

Sony ericsson Z520

I had the same problem with that phone... while manipulating the mobile part (cover) you can slightly improve the volume.
Another point to check is the button on the side of the phone which allows to increase or lower the volume: it could happen that you turn the volume low without noticing it...
My solution was to replace the phone.

Ear speaker has no volume.

Hmm...i have the exact same phone...though this has never happenend to me. The only thing i can suggest is maybe look at the microphone and see if there is anything clogged in it? It not, i am not really sure hwat to say? Maybe take it to youre local ATT store and have them take a look, or request a new phone?
