I'm trying to connect my phone to my laptop through bluetooth, and so far, I've been able to get the computer and laptop to recognize each other, but it's still not working right when I try to send a picture to the computer with the phone. It recognizes it, but can't communicate with it. I also see 2 messages both saying "bluetooth peripheral device doesn't have a driver". My computer is a Toshiba Satellite L505, and my phone is an LG 8575 TOUCH. The bluetooth adapter I bought is a "USB Dongle"
Thanks for the help!

Because you use the word 'pair' I have to assume that your headphones are Bluetooth-enabled. If this is the case, you can pair and connect the headphones to your phone and/or your iPad, which are, like most, if not all, phones and tablets, Bluetooth-enabled. On the other hand, very few desktop computers and/or laptops are Bluetooth-enabled. Your computer does not recognize your Bluetooth-enabled headphones because it is not Bluetooth-enabled.
I have got internet connection from my slide (EDGE). Nokia PC suite seems to offer such a connection via Bluetooth through my phone by calling it One Touch Access. Bluetooth connection is perfect, my phone alone connects to the internet but not my laptop through my phone. What needs to be done?
Make sure you have bluetooth on on both, and that you are connected via bluetooth to your computer.
Turn on pda net on your DI and enable bluetooth dun.
Now go to your bluetooth settings on your computer and double click on
your device, a new service should pop up allowing you to enable
dun/modem and select that.
right click on your di bluetooth connection on your computer and create a dial up modem.
select the generic bluetooth modem, not the pdanet modem.
Type 123 in the phone number and leave the username and password blank and click connect.
Now you can right click on your DI bluetooth icon on your computer and select connect to the modem connection you just created.
After using my DI as a modem over bluetooth there are a few things to consider.
1. yeah it works great.
2. Its a battery **** fest.
Constant 3g with constant bluetooth = constant battery draw.
I would still recommend using your pdanet via the usb cable, seeing as this will keep the battery level charged, as well as same speed!
Hello,
To send picture from your phone, open the picture you will like to send and press the option button which is at the upper left hand side. Scroll to send through bluetooth and switch on the bluetooth of the other phone. Press yes and it will send immediately. Make the phone is not far from each.
You can also send picture to your computer if your computer has bluetooth using the procedure above. Or you can use the USB cable connecting the phone and the computer. After connecting the two together the phone will recognize the computer and you can now send the picture to the computer.
Regards
First you'll need to make sure your PC has a BlueTooth adapter,
which will allow it to recognize other Bluetooth devices such as your
phone.
You can find a Bluetooth Data Suite for under $30 that includes a Bluetooth adapter
and software drivers for all phone types (the same one I use). It plugs
into your usb port on your computer or laptop.
Next you'll need to configure your phone's BlueTooth settings
to make it visible to the Bluetooth Data Suite running on your computer.
Open your phone and select the following menu options: Settings --> Connection -->
BlueTooth Link --> Setup --> Find Me
You'll be prompted to enter a unique passcode of your choosing (I
used 1234 for example), and the Bluetooth Data Suite will pair with your
cell phone... meaning they will be linked together and can start
transmitting data files over a wireless Bluetooth connection.
You only need to pair your cell phone to your computer once. After
that, your phone will be automatically recognized when you plug in the
bluetooth adapter and have your phone within range.
Once your computer and phone recognize each other, you can use
the Bluetooth Data Suite to select photos from your phone and transfer
them to your PC.
Uninstall the blue tooth from Computer. restart it then again install the Bluetootg driver and try.Hope its done. Thanks & waiting for your positive feedback.
How do I connect my bluetooth phone with my computer? First you need to turn your phones visibility on. Most phones you do this by going into the menu, settings and they should be an option for "connections." Bluetooth will or should be under your connects, like I said this is for most phones. You need to first make sure your bluetooth is turned on. Next you need to turn on your bluetooth's visability. As far as your computer goes. You either need a laptop/tower with bluetooth build in or a bluetooth USB adapter. You can generally get a bluetooth USB adapter for less than $30, and these are very useful and can be used with multiple phones, which is great about bluetooth. After you have your bluetooth USB installed on your computer, then you need to sync them together. The easiest way that I have found to do this is to do it from the phone. Under your bluetooth settings under your phone, they should be an option to search for new devices or to pair it. Once your perform the search it should find your computer. Select to pair it with your computer. It will ask you for the passcode on the phone it should be "0000" that is four zeros. You should get a pop up from the system tray on a windows machine asking if you want to pair your bluetooth with this device. You need to tell it yes and it will *** for the passcode, which again is four zeros "0000." You should then be ready to use your bluetooth enabled phone with your computer.
Please let me know how are you trying to connect your phone through the cable provided with the phone or through bluetooth?
If you want to connect your Phone with Laptop via Bluetooth, you need to have a Laptop equipped with bluetooth facility built-in, through which you can pair your handset with the handset bluetooth and transfer files.
Else if you are trying to connect it via the cable provided with the phone, you can set your handset connectivity to USB mode and check if your laptop recognizes your phone as a USB device or not, in case it doesn't then you need to install the Samsung PC Studio software which came with the phone and then you would be able to connect your phone to your laptop
try connecting your phone to a USB 2.0 port. Some older computers give this error. If you can find a newer laptop to try and plug it in it may recognize it. As far as a driver goes, with Windows XP or Vista you shouldn't need a driver disk at all. It is more like a compatibility issue than a software problem.
