Well, you have a couple options with this. You can use either coax cable, or RCA cables. If you use coax, you want to connect it on the receiver that says TV set out, and out the tv set on channel 3 or 4. If you use RCA cables, you want to connect these to the color coded connections on the back of the receiver labeled with a Green 1. The tv will need to be on channel 3 or 4, and a video in put, usually Video 1 or 2.

We would be happy to help you with getting your DISH Network remote to control your RCA TV. We're going to start by pressing and holding the TV button located on the top of your remote until all mode button back lights come on, and then release. Use the number buttons to enter the codes for your RCA TV here are some of the codes we currently have: 503, 627, 633, 725, and 505. Press the pound (#) button. To check that the code works try several different functions on the remote to make sure it will properly operate the TV. Remember that some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, try the other codes listed for your RCA TV until you find one that is compatible with it.
