Yes sometimes ink pens can be washed when we are not aware it was in someones pocket. I use straight ammonia and a cloth to clean my washing machine drum a couple times a year because these things have happened to me before. The ammonia will cut the grime and pen stains out of the drum. Then take a squirt bottle and fill it with white vinegar and squirt all around inside the drum of the machine. Run a wash without any clothes with the hottest water to clean the drum and clear out the stains. Do this to the dryer also and clean out the filters. Take the dispensers out from the washing machine and clean those too and your cleaning is done for a while. Apparently the ink has been in the drum of your washing machine and putting the color into your clothes. You can bleach out the white clothes that turned blue. Use the stain remover for colored clothes. Hope this will help you.

OIL STAIN ON A CLOTHES out of washing machine E12477

Are they getting the oil stain from the washing machine? If so, you need to get a tech out to inspect your washing machine. If you are putting oily clothes into the washing machine hoping it will come out, it's too late, you need to pre-wash with Shout or Tide to remove oils and grease. The more you wash and dry it the deeper the stain will set. Sounds like you need to throw those clothes away.

I have AWM 270-3062 Speed Queen top loader washing m/c. It is approx 15 years old and has never been serviced. Lately dark stains have been visible on the clothes after each wash. The stains come out with...

Stains are one of those things that no two problems are every the same cause. Generally, if it an oily stain then you take a look at something like the transmission. If it is a rubber type of stain the the rubber washer sealing the shaft. Or if it is rusty colored then metal metal somewhere in the wash tub that is rusting.

Sorry, wish there was somehow to tell you where exactly to look, but there just isn't.

Yellow stains after machine washing

Sounds like rust stains, coming off the inside of the drum, you will need to find the source of the rust. Maybe a loose screw or something metal stuck inside the drum. Carefully run your hand around the inside of the drum and check for rough jagged edges to identify anything that should not be in there.

Clothes come out with stains on them

I had a similar problem with my Kenmore front loader. Turned out that the rubber lining around the door was trapping dirty, soapy water causing a nasty residue to collect. That residue got onto the clothes. I cleaned the rubber liner and now keep the washer door open between uses. I still occasionally wipe down the rubber liner with a wet rag. Problem seems to have been solved.

Stains on clothes after washing

This sounds like the infamous "Frigidaire Flaw" (they make some of GE's washers). The likely culprit is that the bearings on the drum's spindle are leaking.

To diagnose, call a repair man, or pull it out and remove the back cover. If you see brown streaks from the center spindle - that's it.

Repair is cheap if you can do the work yourself (inner and outer bearings), but $300+ for a technician

Stains on clothes

Have you tried Calgon to get rid of limescale deposits? Also have you used any laundry bleach at any point, because it stays in the machine for ages and clothes come out with faded patches and bleach marks for weeks afterwards.
