This issue when we try to scan from the all-in-one, once try to scan from the all-in-one software, make sure that the software is inatlled properly because we can scan from the all-in-one only when the full feature software is installed in the computer. If we are able to scan properly from the computer then check whether digital imaging monitor is running or not in the taskbar. If it is not running reinstall the all-in-one software
If still can't get scan to work. Printer states "no scan options". If you have windows vista and it comes up with the "no scan options" don't press the button on the printer, go to "start" then "accessories" then "paint". This will open up the windows paint program. Go to "File" then click on "From scanner or printer". It will then scan the document. Thanks

I have a MAC PRO and purchased Documate 3220 scanner. How do I download the software? I do not have a CD slot on my computer?

If you have the CD with the driver, ask someone with a CD reader to copy it to a USB memory.
Also you can try making a google search looking for Mac Pro Driver for Documate 3220 sanner but I feel your bet option is to use the one on the CD.

I put in the cd to install this program and I only see files and scripts nothing comes up and allows me to install the actual program. I tried it on my pc and it worked but I didn't install it into...

Sounds like you have a Windows exclusive CD. It will not work on Mac OS.
If you have a windows install disk, you can install Windows on your Macbook Pro using Boot Camp via the Boot Camp Assistant located in Applications/Utilities. This will require you to restart and select one desired system to boot up in order to use OS X or Windows.

Alternatively you could run Windows and Mac OS simultaneously with a program such as parallels.

Lost install disk for Mac book pro My 13" Mac book

You will need some install disks to even begin working on your issue.
Your options:
  • Find someone with the same model MacBook Pro and borrow the disks.
  • Buy a copy of Leopard (10.5) or Snow Leopard (10.6) and use them. If you are going to buy a set you might as well update to Snow Leopard (10.6)
  • Check eBay for install disks but make sure they are for the same model MacBook Pro.
  • Contact an Apple service center and purchase a replacement set of install disks.
Once you have a install CD, I would recommend backing up your system by making a disk image of the hard drive to an external drive. Then doing a clean install and then using the Migration Assistant to restore your user files to the clean install on your hard drive.

I am having difficulty installing my Lexmark 8300 printer on my Mac Book Pro.

Have you tried installing the driver's from the cd that came with the printer? That is usually the first step.

Hi Canon don't provide up-to-date drivers for this scanner any more so you will have to buy a copy of Hamrick Software's Vuescan
http://www.hamrick.com/vuescan/vuescan.htm#canon
It works with almost every scanner in the world (seriously) but you have to buy it. I have no connection but have lots of cliens using it.
