If the touch screen does not work, it may be because it is out of calibration.
You can go into settings and navigate using the buttons to recalibrate the touchscreen.
Slide the on/off slider briefly. It should give you a menu.
Use the - button to scroll down to calibrate.
Push the M button
This gives the calibration screen.
Press the small square that appears in each corner, and finally in the center.
This should give you the touch screen, hopefully working.
There is a manual and other information here.

Hold on
It is an Ikasu 8GB 2.8" Media Player, and I cant use the buttons to go into Settings, You need the touchscreen for that? Any other suggestions? I went onto the manufacturers official site, and there are others who have the same problem. What can I do?
I am sorry that I may have misinterpreted your question.
I have a player that works on the same system as the Ikasu.
To turn it on I slide and hold the on/off slider until I get a screen full of Icons.
I was presuming that you got that far and touching the icons did not work.
I again operated the same switch briefly, and got into settings.
I have found on mine that the M buttton also will get you into settings.
If that does not help, try resetting it by gently pushing the end of a paperclip into the small hole on the bottom edge, at the end the buttons are.
I don't know if it will work, but I assume that the unit may not be responding to either the buttons or the touch screen and this is the only remaining operation you can do on the device.
The only other thing I can think of is to charge the device, to make sure it isn't a strange low battery problem, but If you have checked the official site and they have no suggestions you may have to consider buying a replacement.
