When the freezer section gets cold and reaches its required cooling temperature, after that the frost on freezer section starts defrosting and the cooling fan in the freezer section blows this cool air from freezer to fridge. But if the defrost cycle does not start then freezer will block the air passing section from freezer to fridge,so the freezer gets cool but fridge section does not cool. Its the defrost problem.Try manual defrost by unplugging the refrigerator from main power outlet for 4 hours then reconnect it and check,if the same problem is noticed again,.If yes then its defrost board problem. The defrost board located in the back of fridge section. You can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com or from online sears part site.------------- Thank you.

When a refrigerator door is left open the freezer will continue to run to keep it cold and since it can't cool an open area it will freeze up on the inside, to resolve this you will need to unplug the fridge and open the freezer door and allow the freezer to thaw completely, once it is thawed you can plug it back in and everything should go back to normal after a 24 hour period

Freezer works no refrigrator

most common fault to cause this problem is cooling element in freezer section iced up. could also be faulty fridge stat not letting cold air through.first pull drawers out of freezer section, if back cover inside feels frosty or snowy, then likely evap (cooling element) is iced up.if so empty cab, switch off for 24 hours with both doors open, and restart. ice ups can be the result of the freezer door being left ajar, but can also be a problem with auto defrost as well as problem in refrigeration circuit. if problem comes back call a service engineer.

Left door open on Sub zero model 650

It went into self protection mode. Just leave it closed and when the compressor cools down enough, it will start. Once the ref starts to cool, the lights and such will come back on.

All of this assumes that no failure was caused by the long run times when the door was open

Ice Maker stopped working

You need to defrost the freezer. By the door being ajar, there was excessive ice build up on the coil that was not removed during a system defrost resulting in a blocked coil. This caused the temperature to rise in the freezer above twelve degrees that is why the ice maker stopped.

Freezer only freezing to 20 degrez

If the door was left ajar for any extended period frost has built up on the cooling coils. A complete defrost of the freezer should take care of the problem. Normally a frost free system will clear the ice from the cooling coil when the defrost time cycle happens. However frost may have built up in areas where the heaters can not readily remove it in a normal defrost cycle and shutting the unit down with the door open for about 24 hours should clear it out.
