Wont come on. light on front on, fuse changed, no light on inside unit and fan wont come on.

If its like mine, one or both of the fans short out causing the fuse to blow in the controller. I was running with a replaced fuse and 1 fan while waiting for a replacement fan. The remaining fan also blows the fuse now. I think maybe there is a fan issue?

TEST THE CONTINUITY OF THE BULB AND THE WIRING AND THE PARTS INSIDE.


DOES THE UNIT STILL WORKS NORMALLY ASIDE FROM THE BULB?

They only move the air slightly. They are not like a conventional fan.

They do not rotate.

They do work effectively for mold spores and dust. If yours has not been cleaned in a while remove the front element from above and spray the stainless bars down with an acidic claener like "Formula 409" and wipe them down after rinsing. On the unit itself unplug it and remove the front and rear grill br pressing a small tab at the bottom of the grille and push upwars. Be careful with front grille as there is an ionizing wire there towards the inside of the unit. If the unit has come from someone else, with an emery board and gentle pressure just make one pass witht he wire gently between board and your finger. drawing towards the spring loaded end. Do the same to the two wires inside the unit housing if present, Witht he rear grille removed, remove the bulb and wipe it down with a cleaner if needed- it should be clear. as it is a UV bulb.

Dust out hte base area with a small paintbrush and remove as much dust as you can from it. If need be a slighly damp rag cna also be used.

With the front of the Ionic breeze unit facing you, there are 2 conductive rubber strips that also need to be wiped down with a lsightly damp rag. They should be removing some black dust. Also wipe down the inside of the front being mindful of the two stainless wires.

Let unit dry off and reassemble.

With left knob turned to left- no light should appear. Turn knob to the right and the UV tube should light and the Boost button should light up blue when pressed once- and green when pressed a second time and then off if pressed a third time. It will only light when the left knob is turned to right.

The right knob adjusts "Low," "Medium" and "High" intensity of the high voltage applied to elements.

Alow unit to dry before powering it on.

A working system should raise the hairs on the back of you hand or give you some other sensation of moving air

First, unplug the unit from the wall. There is high voltage inside the unit, so use caution.
Next, check the fuse on the back of the unit. If it is good, then you need to check the fan.
Corrosion can build up on the interior of the fan assembly. Remove the filter and look for the connections at the bottom of the fan motor. Make sure they are not loose, corroded, or disconnected. If you have a meter you can use to check the voltage, or know someone who can, see if voltage is being applied to the fan. You will need to plug the unit back in, so remember the high voltage on the screen, and on the needle emitter at the front of the unit. If voltage is present, you can go to the Alpine web site and order a replacement motor. This is a common failure item. If there is no voltage, the unit will need repair.

behind the front panel fingerboard on each side there is a screw hidden. You have to very slightly and gently with a fine bladed knife pry up those left and right sides to expose the screw. Its a thin piece of plastic covering the screen. Be very careful because there are electronics imbedded in the fingerpad that you are prying up. Gently lift the sticky covering only enough to get to the screws. It can be done but be careful.

This red light goes on when air purifier needs to be cleaned, also check out whether fan is running or fan is stopped if fan is not running and red light is on then the problem is of filter got wet inside.let the filter get dry then check out.if still the same problem the filter needs replacement. to remove the filter for cleaning or replacement Remove the ESP cell by taking hold of the handles and lifting upwards. and then Remove the Oxygen Plus filter from the unit.by lifting it up slightly. its the filter problem either its wet and needs to be dried out or the filter is got clogged by dust and needs replacement.contact the local service center for air purifier and get the replacement filter.------ This will help. Use a DVM continuity function to see if the fuse is blown, and check all the DO FIRST literature packed with the thing. You probably get to take a note out of the ionizer chamber.

If you haven't done so, try replacing the lamp starter.
