I have a rockford fosgate t1500 amplifier and two 12"kicker L5's duel voice coil. the subs are wired together as one. they worked for about half an hour. now the amp and head unit comes on but no...

This amp is rated at 200 watts when run at 4 ohm load when in bridged mode (mono). You will need to check the measurement of the load at the amp's positive and negative location where it meets the speakers. You are actually going to need to measure the load of the speakers on the amp. If it ran too low of a load, meaning less than 4 ohms, there is a good possibility that the amp overheated and damaged some internal components due to not enough resistance. Some of their amps have internal fuses that can be replaced. It may be time to visit a diagnostic shop.

Good luck!

Power/ Ground Problem. Im running a 6ga Power wire to the battery (approx 6')with a 40amp fuse. The amp turns on, then about 10 seconds later blows the fuse. The ground is the same ga wire and is grounded...

1. Start by undoing your ground.
2. Use a jumper cable to hook up the ground to the battery ground.
3. Install fuse and test.

If it continues to blow you have an internal amp problem.

If it fails to blow a fuse you have a problem with the chassis ground.

If it is a ground issue you can chase down the various ground straps and clean the connections or you can run another ground cable to the chassis (body) ground to the battery to reestablish the connection.

No end caps,what are they

The end caps screw on to both ends to hide the cables and wires. Not required unless you don't wat to see any wires in a surface mount type install. Does not affect performance

Can a rf 201s amp push 4-6x9s and 4-104s door speakers

Hello jon_jonmay,

Wiring 4 speakers to each of 2 channels, you will need to wire them series-parallel and run them at 4 ohms. If you wire all 4 parallel, the load will be 1 ohm and the amp is only stable down to 2 ohms.

According to your manual, the 201s will deliver 50 watts into each channel at 4 ohms . So it will be supplying about 12.5 watts per speaker which is about what you get with the average factory radio. They will work OK, but they're not going to be very loud.

Hope this helps.
