I have Iphone 2g.I slipped from hands to floor and after that WIFI is not working and also when screen will be off i cant get any call..untill i turn on screen then if someone was calling i will get notification of misscall.

POWER OFF AND PUT IT BACK ON AND GO TO WIFI SETTINGS AND TURN ON WIFI AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE PUTTING THE RIGHT PASSWORD

There is no gprs in the iPhone 2g. To find your location it uses cell tower triangulation and the ip of the wifi spot you are connected to in order to figure out your location. To turn on location services, which allows all this to happen, go to settings -> general and turn on location services.

Make certain WIFI is turned on in your phone- it is generally under settings > general > wifi
If that does not work, you may need to go to an Apple or AT&T store for service

You'll have to let the iPhone charge sufficiently for it to proceed further from the boot screen. You may want to leave the iPhone charging for atleast half an hour before unplugging it.

Sounds like a battery issue.

First, remove and reinsert your battery and power on again. If still a problem, replace your battery.

If your phone is still under the warranty, contact Apple or AT&T for a replacement.

Seems like the digitizer(which sense the touches) is not working. Replace with a new one and you'll be good to go

Download the latest iTunes to your computer and reset the iPhone. Then re-sync it.

To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red "power off" slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears

Jailbreaking your iPhone to 2.2 is going to mess up your phone. I've got a jailbroken 2.2 iPod Touch and it's ok - a friend of mine also tried to jailbreak his iPhone to 2.2 and lost connections as well.

Downgrade back to 2.1 and you should be ok.
