Assume you have cleaned it. Have you checked the gas. It has a sell by date on the bottom. If its past its date then can get tempremental. The gas is also sensitive to temperature, Keep it indoors or in your pocket and try again.

Paslode impulse framing nailer , iv cleaned gun and oiled , the fan works etc . seems to only fire if i have fully charged battery ,once used for about five minutes it stops firing . only way to get it...

When it stops firing is the little light on the side of the handle green or red? If it is red then the battery is draining down too quickly. Either the fan switch has malfunctioned causing the fan to run all the time (I have seen this before) or you got either a faulty battery or charger.

Won't fire, green light on, fan works. Fires every once in awhile but not twice. New gun bought years ago, never used much.

Hi,

Here is a tip that I wrote about the Paslode nailers and the problems that can come up with them.

I also have a link to the Paslode manuals which contain Paslode cleaning and troubleshooting guides.

If you need parts for your Paslode, there also is a link for a site that sells the Paslode nailer parts.

Paslode nail gun 325 black not firing

Any time these guns become intermittent or stop firing but the fan still runs, the first the to check is the expiration date on the gas cartridges. The do expire and this will make the gun work inconsistently or not at all.

Paslode 1st fix gun .battery fully charged and placed into gun.the light flashes green and the gun will fire once after which the light flashes red and the gun will not fire.any ideas.i have tryed other...

I would look at the fuel cell on the bottom is a expiration date and they will not fire older fuel. Also do you remove the battery and it does the same thing? When you depress the safety on the work can you hear the fan motor? You say the tool is clean does it have enough lube to move all items freely. Just a couple thoughts, Also look at the spark plug wire for being broke or coming out of the spark unit. Let me know and we will go into this deeper.

Make sure that the battery is pushed in all the way in. Sometimes the battery will not make contact and the fan will not turn on. I have had to put a piece of tape over the battery to make it work. Or see if you can bend out the connectors in the gun.
