You might have to uninstall the mouse then restart your computer then reinstall the mouse and its drivers
make sure the battery is good (has full charge)also you might test the usb device for the mouse is inserted correctly into the usb port (if applicable)
click start control panel mouse you should see 4 tabs buttons, pointers, pointer options and hardware under hardware you can troubleshoot also you can select properties under driver you will have options to update driver, rollback driver or uninstall and under hardware you can troubleshoot
in xp
hope this helps

It sounds like the mouse broke when you dropped it. You might want to check the warranty.

Logitech m310 wireless mouse causes cursor to freeze while surfing internet, then computer reboots automatically. pc runs normally with microsoft wireless mouse though. any suggestions?

Make sure you have the latest drivers from the logitech website. Also make sure the batteries are fresh and there's no corrosion on the terminals.

But m310 says drivers wont install

Try installing the drivers for your hardware prior to plugging in the device. You should be able to do this with the CD you received with the product. If you do not have a CD or the CD did not work properly, visit the following support website for the Logitech Wireless Mouse M310 to download appropriate drivers and software:

My wireless mouse will not work, I forget how to 're'-pair it. It was functioning normally before i left home for a couple of days. Both the mouse and the other part (that goes into the usb port) are...

1. Try unplugging usb device and replugging in (I'm sure you already did that) LOL
2. Uninstall device driver
3. After uninstall plug in USB device
see if that works

Not working

If there any lights on the mouse when you put new batteries in the mouse? If yes then you can still fix it. On the usb controller of you mouse it will have a button on it. Press that button first and then press the button under the mouse. Repeat a few times and see if mouse responses. Then if nothing happens, unplug the usb controller and place it into another port. Repeat the above process and see what happens. Should work fine.

It's not working right....

The BenQ M310 mouse needs to "sync" with the USB receiver. Need to push the two buttons at the same time, or maybe the one in the mouse first then push the button in the USB receive so the two can "sync" to each other. This may solve this problem. Good luck!

Changing the batteries on the BenQ Wireless Mouse

If you slide down (hard) the panel beneath the 2 clicker keys, you will find a battery compartment with space for 2 AAA batteries7f60d17e-8b58-4076-acc1-563ab4428c0d.jpg
