"REPAIR"

Because the disc was left in the unit after recording and the power plug was unplugged later, the track number and

recording time data have been cleared without being recorded on the disc.

While "REPAIR" is displayed, the track number and recording time data are repaired by tracking the recorded area. Further

recording or finalization is possible when the display returns to the previous condition. Tracking the recorded area takes about 40 minutes if the disc has been fully recorded.

After warranty time expires (2yearsd) my LG LRY-517 DVD combo recorder/player start to make randomly disc reading errors. During half year things has going worse. Now the situation is that it does not play...

Use lens cleaner disk to run many times. It cleans the lens and also runs cd on the disk which eventually will get rid of moisture on the circuits and restore your dvd recorder on the LG unit.

Cannot read recorded disks which were made in the camera. It says these is no disk in when switched on. Looks as if laser may not be working

it seems that there was a problem on the recorder lens, first try to use a optical disc cleaner. if this does not solve the issue you better send it for repair for check-up & testing.
