Which webcam should i buy to use on my nx6325? all the newer ones seem to lag as the graphics card looks too old for them?

You could get better performance with more RAM, but since the laptop is old I suggest you put your money towards a new laptop.
You could remove the hard drive from your old laptop and insert the hard drive into an USB hard drive adapter case and use it as an external USB hard drive for backups and file transfer.

Cannot run my built in webcam to my asus.so i need the usb version 2..

i assume your asus is a laptop with a built in webcam, theres always a driver disk when you bought your laptop you can find the webcam drivers there..just make sure you select the appropriate operating system..just in case you misplaced it go to asus website, look for support then search your model and download the necessary drivers..that should fix your problem...if your using windows 7 i dont think that would be an issue because it will automatically load standard drivers for your webcam..

While connecting web cam to computer (mother board ASUS M2N-E SLI) the message of the system Excess of throughput of USB contrller

The camera needs more power than what the USB socket can deliver - 6 watts. Since a webcam normally uses less than 0.5 watts then either the cable or or the camera itself are defective.
Time for a new one.

I just bought my asus laptop and i do not know how to get the webcam to come on please help!!

It will be detected and used by software that requires a web cam such as MSN or Skype if you use the video conference feature. You can set the preference of your webcam with some menu item of those software. You laptop may come with some utility software you can find in start menu which can help you diagnose your hardware including your webcam. As it is a new one, the webcam will work for you. You just need some software either those video conferencing or picture taking ones.

Webcam has stopped working, help!!!

Have you tried the camera in all the usb ports on your computer? If not please do so.

Scan your computer for VIRUSes.

Sounds like your camera has died.
From what you said the hardware in the camera has developed a fault.

Best to buy a new one.....

Before you do buy a new camera try connecting it to someone else's computer, if it works, then you might have a problem with a virus/trojan.

Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Webcam wont load

Hi,

If the two (cam + laptop) have not worked together before, it might be due to drivers problems. Most drivers are very OS specific. In some instances Vista has been known to have USB and/or compatibility issues. On the otherhand XP sometimes requires that you uninstall the old drivers, reboot before (re)installing new drivers, reboot before installing the hardware and allow autodetect and auto install.

If the two (cam + laptop) have worked together before and now doesn't, it might be due to hardware problems such as the cord, the cam itself or the USB port of the laptop. If your other USB devices works, then USB port(s) can be ruled out. You can verify that the camera works buy installing it in another PC.

You can verify OS compatibility of your camera as well as updated drivers at the Logitech website. Additionally, you can check for Microsoft updates/patches and fixes like this USB patch for Vista.

Should you need additional information, pls post back with your cam's brand/model, your laptop's brand/model and your OS version.

Hope this be of help. Good luck and kind regards.
