I can not get any downloads from my GY-HD110 camcorder on my Edius or X3 Corel software NLEs. Will this help me?

try to download and install the clip manager and use it to get the files from the camera ..(get the windows version ) This has probably a driver included and will make it visible ..
If after this download you can not see the file and download them ..than you should check the firewire card driver ..or to see if it is enabled..Usually the firewire card gets the driver from windows if it is enabled and to make sure it is ..I suggest to look in device manager ..take a look for the camera too ..If you see it in yellow this means it lacks the driver ..
(you can also get to BIOS and load the factory optimal settings and save changes with F10 t be sure all ports are active )
In any case..the manager from them should work ..and after that just import files from the computer location into those editor if you need further work to be done on them ..
