HOW TO UPFRADE THE PSP?

Hello. It is very simple do to this. You should only follow my steps:

First of all, you have to download a file name called EBOOT.PBP (psp upgrade) which is located HERE
Save it on your desktop and do not rename the file.
Plug in your USB cable and go to your PSP's System Settings and on the second from the top press X on USB CONNECT. Go to "My Computer" and click on Removable disk. Here it should be a folder named PSP followed by a subfolder called GAME. Enter this folder, create a new folder and name it UPDATE (in caps without spaces). In the folder you have just created, move (copy - paste) EBOOT.PBP here from your desktop. Also, if there is no GAME folder, you have to create it in the folder "PSP". Be carefully! Remove your hardware and fully charge your PSP and plug it on the wall. Go to Games Area and choose Memory Stick by pressing X. You will see now PSP Update version
*. **. Press PSP Update version *. ** (it will only clear your screen for a couple seconds). Press Start if you want to upgrade. Go to User Agreement and start the upgrade process. While it's started, do not touch your PSP. Leave it somewhere until the upgrade is done.

I hope I helped you!

I cant play the game in memory stick..

you'd first have to downgrade your psp. try to lower it to 3.50 or 4. something. then insert the .pbp file... this file is a hack.. or an upgrader for a psp.. once you do this.. your psp will be back to version 5.03 but now you can play downloadable games.

I upgrade my psp in version 5.01, now i cant play my games

the PSP has to be hacked in order for you to play downloaded games. If you get a magic memory stick and a pandora battery it can be done easily even with the 5.50 firmware version. Google pandora battery, and magic memory stic or (psp mmj tutorial) and you get lots of good info.

Hope this helps.

Is psp2004pb can play games in memory stick?

psp can only play games using the UMD drive, you can only play game demos using the memory stick.
Upgrade your psp firmware version to 5.00, it adds playstation store to the psp where you can buy and download full games onto your psp, all you need to do is create an account using the playstation store on your psp if you upgrade it to 5.00.

Use this link to help you upgrade you psp to 5.00
http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/SystemUpdates/PSP
don't forget to download psp media manager 3.00 on your pc.
use this link for psp media manager.

I upgrade my psp in version 5.01, now i cant play my games

HELLO! There's no need to downgrade ur PSP. If u have upgraded ur PSP from the official site and a official firmware has been installed on to ur PSP, it won't execute games(ISO,CSO) from ur memory stick. It will only run games from the UMD. If u want to run ur games from a memory stick u have to install a CUSTOM FIRMWARE. Try www.psp-hacks.com these guys have many softwares on their site. Dont worry its not that hard to put a Custom firmware onto ur PSP.

How to upgrade my psp version 3.72 to version 3.9?

UMMM you don't need to upgrade you need to downgrade. Once you downgrade you can actually go ahead and upgrade to a custom firmware wich are the ones that allow you to do that and much more. If you really want to know how to do this and are still interested please send me an email at [email protected]. I say email because its a long process and i would need to ask you some questions about your psp and other stuff to so if you want more help send me a message with psp info as the tittle.
