I had the same problem scanning to PDFs with the CanoScan Toolbox until I went to the File Settings dialog, and unchecked the option "Detect the Orientation of Text Documents and Rotate images". Now it seems to work more predictably (no more scans that have been rotated for no apparent reason).

Samsung fax sf650 is sending blank pages but receiving printed pages

Could be that it is not scanning properly. Is the lamp working? If it is, reinstall the scanning software to be on safe side and try again. If still n results the unit may be defective in that particular operation.

Scans are coming out upside down

First, are you putting the pages to be scanned in upside down. If not, do so. I sometimes encounter this problem but use the free version of Adobe that comes with the scanner to turn the scanned pages right side up. Hope this helps.

THE PAPER IS BEING PULLED CROOKED INTO THE PRINTER

Make sure something hasnt fallen into the printer like a paper clip or something. I had that happen and was experiencing the same problem. Something very small can cause only one of the wheels to grab the paper causing it to pull in crooked.

If there is something in it just remove the papaer and gently turn the printer upside down and the foreign object should fall out.
