Issue: error code appears on the printer display.
Solution:
Step one: Reset the printer
Press the On button to turn off the printer.
Unplug the power cord and universal serial bus (USB) cable from the back of the printer.
Wait 30 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the printer.
Press the On button to turn the printer on.
If the error message does not display, the issue is resolved; reconnect the USB cable and resume using the printer.
If the previous steps have not cleared the message, continue to the next step.


Step two: Download and install firmware update
Go to the product support page to download the update.

Click Software & driver downloads.

Click on the appropriate operating system link.

Click on the Recommended update to fix long power-on cycle and error codes and follow the instructions to download the file.

After downloading is complete, disconnect all other USB devices from the PC. Make sure the product is powered ON and plugged into the USB port.

With the printer directly connected to the PC, click the downloaded file FirmwareEnable_Release.EXE.

Click Open/Run.

Click OK at the Update successful window. The error should have been cleared from the printer display.

If you get a message saying a device was not detected (see Figure 1), make sure the printer is powered ON and the USB cable is connected to both the printer and PC and try step five again.

"Application explorer.exe encountered a serious error and must shut down"means sometime in the past, someone must have installed the OS incorrectly or has deleted something vital, which is why this error is occurring. The only way to bypass this is to reinstall windows OS using the CD that was provided for you, and this error will disappear.

There are different types of USB port. For instance my computer has two types. One with a blue connector and one with a black connector. It might be that your USB ports are not suitable for that device. You need to check the specifications of the USB ports on your computer and the specifications of the MP3 player. Continuing to use the device might cause damage to the computer.

In these cases you have to click Add Plug-ins, followed by Plug-in Gallery and search for the particular App you want.

You can either type it into the search box sitting right in front of you (after clicking), or you can browse through Yahoo's Apps by category on the right hand side of the page.

Once you find the one you like, click "Try it now" and follow the prompts.

Plug the drive in. Right click on the drive and select Properties. Go to the tools tab and run Error-Checking and scan for errors. Fix any that come up. If this does not solve the problem, go to the start control planel > system > device manager. Scroll down to Universal Serial Bus controllers. Right click USB Mass Storage Device and delete the driver for the usb drive. Unplug the USB keychain and plug it back in.

To resolve this issue:

1. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
2. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
3. Click to clear the HTTP 1.1 check box, and then click OK.
4. Test to determine if the issue is resolved. If the issue is resolved, do not complete the remaining steps. If the issue is not resolved, go to the next step.
5. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
6. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
7. Click to clear the Show friendly HTTP error messages check box.
8. Try to view a Web page to reproduce the error message and to receive a new, more descriptive error message. This new error message may be similar to the following: HTTP version not supported by program name. Note the name of the program in this new error message.
9. The program name that you noted in step 8 may be the cause of this issue. Either remove this program, or reinstall it.

Note When you disable the USB 2.0-enhanced host controller, you lose USB 2.0 functionality. That is, you revert to USB 1.1 functionality.

To disable the USB 2.0-enhanced host controller, follow these steps: 1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Manage. 2. Under Computer Management (Local), click Device Manager. 3. In the Device Manager pane, expand Universal Serial Bus controllers. 4. Right-click the USB 2.0-enhanced host controller, and then click Disable.

Note The name of the USB 2.0-enhanced host controller may vary. 5. When you receive the confirmation message, click Yes. 6.

the plug ins that it relates to can only be other programmes that are associated with the network for example windows zero configuration. I would suggest going to my computer, right click>properties>hardware tab>device manager and look in the list for network adapters and on the '+' sign right click on your wireless network card and select uninstal. Restart pc and it should be installed automatically, but keep your eye on the taskbar when it says found new hardware and ensure that it says it has found the intel pro wireless( if thats the model) and try again. Also re install the drivers from your notebooks web site incase there are updated ones.
