I have been using emachine laptop with microsoft office home and student on it.i cannot work on it because it keeps asking for product key.the one i have on the laptop is not working.please help.

The product key is basically a license / receipt that tells Microsoft you paid for the software.

So you can try tracking one down by searching the web ;)

OR you can download a trail version of Office 2010 which will allow you to use office for 30 days (usually)

Or you can use Open Office which is an open source aka FREE version of office. It's similar and not as flashy but it gets the job done.

Here's a link to Open Office.

Hope this info helps.

I can't chang the lagguange as i dont understand russian

If you bought the laptop in russia it is probably running a russian version of windows. You can get an english version of windows and reinstall ms office if you like or you can reboot the laptop and when it comes to language settings choose english version of windows. Unless you can read russian or know someone who does it will be difficult to change it. But ms office should give you a language option when you install it. Try uninstalling it then reinstall it and make sure you read each and every page before you click on next I to had this same problem with ms office and when I uninstalled and reinstalled I found I had somehow missed the option for language in my windows version only mine was chinese instead of english. Once changed it was all in english
