Hi,
When a service call condition occurs, SC codes are displayed in the copy
counter. The first three digits are displayed in the copy counter. Hold down
the "·" key to display the last two digits.
Example:
When the copier detects the E507 condition, "E-5" is displayed in the copy
counter. Hold down the "·" key, and "07" is displayed in the copy counter.

The E5 code is the fuser malfunction error.

My b/w copier suddenly stop working when an error code sc545 appears on the screen and since then it has refuse to work. The moment you turn it on the functional problem error code sc545 appears on the...

You need to check 3 cause for that error:
- hot roller thermistor out of position
- fusing lamp broken (can you see the lamp going on at startup?)
- thermostat broken
If you are just a user, without any technical knowledge, i advise you to call a Ricoh Support Service.

How to reset passcode, copier given to the church. Ricoh Ft 5535

This will require a tech familiar with this machine to reset. The user code option is enabled by both a setting within service mode, and a jumper being disconnected on the motherboard of the copier. This jumper will need to be reconnected and the settings changed within service mode.

On a Ricoh FT 4415 copier, what does error ''E2'' mean?

Hello,Check out this site and see if any of these error codes can help you: http://www.copier-help.com/copier-help/
Have you checked the power fuse? Or have you looked at the incoming power circuit board. Could there be any burnt resistors, blown capacitors, or bad voltage transformers?
Check things out because many times when a machine doesn't even power on (no lights, no life) - it's usually a sign of something blown - fuses, circuit board, lamps, etc. Hope this helps.
