Your Creative T6100 should have come with software. If so ..close out any programs you maybe running. Install the software for your speakers. Re-start your computer.

No. As its own instructions probably point out, it accepts Line Level (pre-out) signals in the pattern of L/R; Sur L/Sur R; Center/Sub; which is typical of most PC soundcards that support 5.1 audio to powered speakers or other hi-fi.
Simple one - uninstall sound driver - reinstall. Typical one - Google your sound driver find that is there any updated one for windows 7?. Download and install. It will work. Sometime (very silly) connecting ur device properly also work. Thanks
Go insto your speaker properties/configuration from the little speaker icon in your taskbar. Check to make sure you have it configures in a 5.1 format rather than stereo. If it is set in stereo change to 5.1 & hit the test icon. All speakers should now be working. Hope this helps.
Go to Control Panel >> Sounds and Audio Devices. Click on Advanced button under Speaker Settings and for Speaker Setup select 5.1 surround sound speakers from the options. Click Apply >> Ok and then check.
