I have an old sansung dyna flat pro 32" need to conect a dvd ...dont know how to input my dvd

Flat screens normally have 3 different inputs from tv. Regular is tv coax cable, then audio/picture by using special rca cables, then last HDMI. You can use any of those inputs except hdmi because you already are using that input. You may be able to buy a hdmi splitting device that will allow both the tv and the player to input to the single hdmi input. Check Radio Shack or Wal-Mart.

I dont know where to get the instructions but make sure your tv is on the right input or source. If you have it hooked up coax then dont look for picture in hdmi or vga. Once you have the right input or source on the tv it should come right up.

It depends on what kind of dvd player you have, but all you really need to do is go from the output of your dvd player to the input of the tv and then you can watch dvd's on that input. You need to use composite inputs. They have three connections, yellow for video, white for left audio and red for right audio. It does not matter which input you go into. I would imagine there are about 7 separate inputs like the ones I described, just remember which one you use because you will have to set the input to that number to see the VCR/DVD later. Get a phono or RCA patch cable and connect the same colors from out on the vcr/dvd box to in on the tv. Turn everything on, set the tv to the proper input using the menu or input selection and you should be able to view video tapes or dvds. Let me know if you need more help.

You should be connected to the AV input 1 slot. Change the input on the TV to Input 1

perhaps the tv needs to scan for the channel tha the PS3 is on.

With cable input connected to "RF in"on rear of unit make sure vidoe input is set to "Tuner". This will show up on the TV screen. Change channels numerically or using up/down arrow keys on DVR remote. Note there is a slight pause between changing channels.You probably will have to "autoscan" for channel setup/etc. If you say your TV set is old; it probabaly is equiped with coax
connection only/set TV channel to "3" or "4". when yot opt to play vcr/dvd it will override your
cable channel selected. Hope this helps!

You need to use INPUT function on your TV's remote to find the correct input for the DVD player.

Your Instruction book should have a phone number for custumer service,give them a call and tell them the problem,they should guide you step by step,see if the store you purchased the unit from has a 30 day exchange,you should not be having any kind of problem,I am assuming you have an antenna conected to the back to the tuner input or a DVD conected to the video input of the set.
