The Auto Light feature of your watch has been turned on. To turn it off, press and hold the button that is on the bottom right of your watch for about 2 seconds. In the upper right of the face of your watch is a circle with some text on it. There should be a down pointing triangle in the upper right of that circle. Below that triangle there should be a dark mark before you turn off the auto light. After you hold the lower right button down for the 2 seconds that dark mark should turn off. The Auto Light feature will also turn itself off after six hours to help you to conserve your battery life.
You have the Auto Light feature on your watch turned on. The light will turn on when you rotate your wrist 40 degrees. To turn off/on, hold down "G" button for 2 seconds.
