Hi there the question is not much clear. But i will inform you 1st the if you connect the USB with camera you can't operate the camera for photo taking . So zoom not working. But if you mean that as normally when you try to click photo with out USB connection but that time zoom or lens not working then try to do this.
Please follow the steps and let me know the result.
1. Ensure batteries are fully charged & clean the battery connector point in side the battery compartment.
2. Look carefully between the lens and the camera body for any sand, dirt or any damaged etc.
3. Try turning the camera with the lens facing down and shake to dislodge anything stuck
4. Try removing batteries and memory card, wait 5 minutes and refit the battery only.
5. Now turn on camera( with out card ) and see ,if working then fix the memory card & again turn on the camera. If working then fine . Otherwise format the memory card and fix back in camera again & try. Make sure before format the memory card take a back up all photos in your computer then format. If no luck then reset or restore the camera setting by pressing Menu key for 2 sec .. in not done the press both Menu & self time key for 2 - 4 sec.
i hope it will gives you success.

How to delete pictures off camera ?

Two methods, one if this function is installed on your camera you can choose to format the card which will delete everything on the card.

Two if the above is not available you can put your card in your computer if there is a slot for it or connect your camera via USB to your computer. Locate the memory card and format it to remove everything, this is faster than choosing the delete option.

My computer recognizes my micro sd card when it's in a card reader, but not when it,s in my samsung wb350f camera

For every device you connect to your computer, the computer needs a program and a driver. So insert the CD that came with your Samsung camera, and install the program and driver.
That should solve the problem.
First install, then connect. Don't leave the camera connected while installing.

Transfer pictures from 813 3X optical zoom Camera to computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

One of the better free programs is Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ). If you want to go professional-grade, you can try Adobe Lightroom ( http://www.adobe.com ).

Transfer pictures to computer to share

Hi there,
In order for you to do that, you can either use the supplied USB cable and connect that to your computer or if your computer has a card reader, you can take off the memory card from the camera and put it into the card reader slot.
Good luck!

My DMC-f27 suddenly quit being recognized by computer

Hi,

First, make sure both ends of the USB cable are firmly connected to the computer and camera.
If no screen pops up asking to select PICTBRIDGE or PC, then there might be a problem with the cable.

I would suggest getting a card reader instead to download pictures. They are many times faster than USB cable, and they aren't too expensive. ($10.00-$70.00).

I recommend this card reader.
