Hi,

The static noise on lcd monitors are made by some capacitors due to uncalibrated settings inside the unit itself. You may try adjusting the contrast and brightness levels of your lcd monitor. If problem persists, have it replaced (assuming it is still under warranty). Then again, if the display output is unsatisfactory, have it replaced as well.

I hope this works for you. Good Luck!

Static noise rx

Check your batteries. Static can be a sign of a bad or low battery. Swap batteries between the units to see if the problem moves to another radio.
Also, check your antenna and antenna connection.
Best regards.

Static noise in Yamaha HS50 monitor

Sounds like the voice coil is damaged on the woofer. If you GENTLY press in on the woofer cone, and release, you should not hear any scratching noise. If you hear noise, the woofer needs replacement.

Static interference problem

The Graco digital iMonitor scrambles the signal as it travels between the monitor and the receiver, making signals nearly impossible to be heard by others.

I had good experience with this product, it didn't suffer from the static noise problem.

Static noise on all radios in house including transistor unit. Turn off monitor static goes.

you have a problem with the power supply. this model has ex external switching power supply like on some laptop. 12V 3.5Amp positive tip output. To test this you would have to plug the Power supply unit and put a load on it other than the monitor. Not easy to do if you know noting about electronics.
You can get some made for laptops and other things like external hard disk.
There is also the inverter inside the monitor that drives the small fluorescent tubes . this could also create the noise. One way or an other you will have to replace the part.

Are you still having problems with this monitor?

I posted about a "clicking" sound that has to do with failed capacitors near the speakers' amplifier IC.

If this is your problem, let me know - it can be fixed.
