Can you see it? A trick I often use is to find some very sticky tape securely attached with the sticky side out on the end of a stick, and try to touch the lid with it and hopefully it will stick to the tape. On the plus side it probably won't do any harm just to leave it if you can't get it out.

Lint fell down the lint trap. How do I get it

Luckily, dryers are light. Best thing to do is pull it out until you can remove the back cover. (unplug it first) Then vacuum and clean all the dust and lint you can. This should be a yearly thing at least anyway. Replace the back plug it in and slid it back. I do mine every 6 months or so.

Individual package of detergent fell into lint trap of Whirlpool

HI, You should remove it. Here is how Normal 0 UNPLUG the dryer! Remove the two screws under the lint screen and pop the top up by inserting a flat blade screw driver in the gap between the front panel and the top. Remove the rear panel of the dryer and locate the four 5/16" screws that hold the lint screen housing to the bulk head. Pull the lint screen housing away from the bulkhead and reach in to remove the item that fell.
Please let me know if this help or if I can assist you further.

Thanks

Dropped bleach pen into lint trap. How do I get it out?

its not too hard to get out.
you will need a #2 phillips screwdriver and or a 1/4" socket driver
remove lint trap
remove 2 screws at lint trap
unplug unilt
open the top (2 clips between lid and front panel in the crack, push them with a butter knife or putty knife to release top) opens like a hood
pull out dryer and pull off rear panel
on the left hand side there is a metal duct like thing lol
that leads to the lint trap at the top.
there should be 4 screws at the bottom where it gets round.
remove them, and wiggle the duct open. your pen should be there..

Lint fell back into lint trap. how can i get it out? already looked in back.

An appliance store can sell you a brush that is attached to a long wire. It is made specifically for removing lint from dryers. I have seen them at walmart and other places but for sure at an appliance store. Good luck.

A sheet of lint fell into the lint chute

Shoud exit dryer in back exhaust pipe. Remove exhaust pipe and remove the sheet. This will prevent blockage and restriction of air flow from dryer to outside vent.

Small plastic toy down lint trap

is the lint filter on the top of unit??? if so you ll need to disconnect power remove the 2 phillips head screws under the lint trap holding it to the main lid. then after removing about 10 1/4in screws from back panel you ll see a metal sleeve running down the back of the unit( the lint filter actually slides in to it) ending in a circular shape below. remove perhaps 4 more screws holding that panel on and youll gain acess to retrive whatever has fallen down there. easy enough to do yourdself no need to call in a professional
