I can't get the battery compartment open

Laurie Pearson,

I can understand the concern. In most cases the battery cover should just slide off towards the bottom of the remote. There should be an indent in the cover where you can put your thumb. Press down on that and slide downward to get the cover off. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I have an intermatic timer ET170 series and I can't program the days for my lights to come on... I already tried several times but the timer does not take my changes why.

Is this a newly purchased timer?
ET170 series has standard 1 year limited warranty, and is discontinued timer replaced by 7-day, 1 and 2 channel ET1700 series.
The manual shows troubleshoot section:
http://www.intermatic.com/~/media/files/intermatic/products/instructions/timers/et175c%20-%20english.ashx

Last step restoration for electronic timers is to replace battery and push in reset button.
Battery compartment is located below buttons.
Compartment slides down and outward and holds AA battery.
If functionality is not restored, then timer has gone bad.

Timer display says "Lo Battery". I put two new

Intermatic timers might require reset-and-reprogram after battery replacement.
To reset, hold down on-off button and push reset button once.
Keep holding on-off button until display changes.
Release on-off button, and display should blink 12:00

Try cleaning battery carriage contacts with alcohol and make sure battery polarity is correct.

If functionality is not restored, then replace timer.
Intermatic EJ500 comes with 1 year limited warranty and is rated for incandescent light bulbs only.

Re Intermatic ST01C White Self Adjusting Wall Switch Timer Pgm indicates "SNST". I can't change it?

Last ditch troubleshoot for ST01C is to change CR2 battery and then reset timer.
Battery is inside compartment located below programming buttons.
How to reset: Hold down on-off button. Push reset momentarily. Keep holding down on-off until display shows INIT. Release on-off button and 12:00 is flashing. Reprogram timer.
If functionality is not restored, then timer is bad.
ST01C has 1 year limited warranty.
Heavier duty Ei600 is same timer, but has 5-year limited warranty.

Hi,
There is no setting to change self timer, default time is 10 seconds. However you can reset camera to restore default settings by pressing reset button located under battery compartment, try it as it might correct self timer problem.

Pry open the door with small screwdriver of fingernail file

Need help changing batteries on Wave Radio remote

Setting up the remote control

WARNING: Keep the remote control battery away from children. It may cause a fire or

chemical burn if mishandled. Do not recharge, disassemble, heat above 100°C (212°F), or

incinerate. Dispose of used battery promptly. Replace only with a battery of the correct type

Your remote control may be one of two types. Each is identified by the way

the battery compartment unlocks to install or replace the battery.

1. Place the remote control face down on a flat surface.

2. If your remote has a slot on the back, follow step A. Otherwise, follow step B:

A. Insert the tip of a ballpoint pen into the slot. Push to the side as shown and hold. Slide

the battery compartment open with your finger.

B. Using your finger, push the tab lock to the side as shown and hold. Slide the battery

compartment open.

Bose® Product Support (see phone numbers on the inside back cover).

3. Keeping the remote control face down, insert the new battery into the compartment with

the + symbol facing up.

4. Gently slide the battery compartment closed. It locks automatically.

5. Use the supplied mounting strip if you want to attach the remote to a surface in your

and the other to the selected surface.

The battery is stock and doesn't come out

Hi. It is normal for the batteries in the Harmony One to swell a little, and is completely within the performance spcifications. Why do you need to take out the battery?

The only time that the swelling of the battery is an issue with this remote is if the battery cover breaks and pops off because of it, or if the battery is not holding a charge and you cant remove it to be replaced. Anyway I dont think there is an easy way to take the remote apart.

As long as the remote is working OK, I wouldnt worry about it. Also, you should only charge the battery when it absolutely needs to be. It's the heat from the remote always being on the charger that is the reason for the battery swelling.

If you have any more questions please let me know.
