Electrolux EOG7330 gas cooker - electric timer fails - so grill and oven switch off. Apparently there is a switch behind the control panel which you press to reset the electrics, but where is it?
Pull off bottom knob of oven shine torch down at 45degrees u will see a red plate turn off power suply and use a small screwdriver to push the plate turn power back on job done.PS Check all vents are clear to stop it over heating good luck.
I suspect there is no fault with timer. there is an overheat stat usually on top of the oven but sometimes inside the back. if this detects overheat, then everything is switched off and comes back on after cooled down.
if this is the case, then suspect lack of ventilation causing the overheat or the casing cooling fan failed.
get back to me if i got it wrong

Hi tresilla
Thanks for the quick response ime at work now so will take a look when i get home, we did have the grill and oven on high both at the same time and i cant remember the fan coming on so this might be the solution, i will let you know.
oven and grill wont work and the elec timer is off. Had this problem once before and workman pulled 1 of the knobs on the timer off and put something in it to fix it . Any idea what he did ?
Any help would be great.
Thanks

same fault need to know where reset button plz
i have the same pro but my model is eou6330xx
Same problem despite no vent probs it was in my house, so I still hadn't fixed the kickboards!)
Replaced overheat stat. A few months later main thermostat went.
Now replaced (cheap parts) for £40 (parts only), but I am not impressed with my oven.
Yep, this solution works! Remove lower knob. Shine in torch. There's a small round red component, which you can press with a long screwdriver. The fault will then clear itself. Bizzare, but true!
Yep, this works. Pull off lower knob. Look for small round red button. Insert long thin screwdriver. Once pressed, the cooker will click and the fault will clear. Very odd, but true.
Confirmed. This definately works.
It is only found behind the oven knob (lower of the 2 knobs).
You need to have a very strong light and shine it down at an angle of 45 degres - through the hole in the front of the oven and through the hole behind (Approx 2 inches 50 mm from the face plate)
The red button referred to in the article above is a very slim hollow tube threaded on the outside which appears from below. Approx same diameter as a pencil.
There appears to be some sort of very slim rod showing in the middle of this tube. It needs a very long thin screwdriver or skewer or chopstick to depress this rod.
Hey presto! Switch the power back on and both oven and grill are working
